Agreement

By creating an account or using Amor Folio, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all users: therapists, counsellors, and clients (including students accessing the platform through an organisation). If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Who we are

Amor Folio is operated by Affiliate Therapy Ltd, registered in England and Wales. Contact: hello@amorfolio.org

The service

Amor Folio provides:

• Practice management tools for therapists and counsellors
• A client-facing app (Amor Folio) for booking sessions, journalling, and communicating with your therapy service
• Organisation dashboards for universities and wellbeing services

The platform is not a crisis service. If you are in distress or danger, please contact emergency services (999) or a crisis line such as Samaritans (116 123).

Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Sharing your account with another person is not permitted. You must be 16 or older to create an account. Organisations accessing the platform on behalf of minors must ensure appropriate safeguarding measures are in place.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Upload content that is harmful, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights
• Attempt to access data belonging to other users
• Reverse-engineer or scrape the platform
• Use the platform to store data you are not permitted to hold

Therapists using Amor Folio to store client records are responsible for ensuring their use complies with GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and their professional body requirements.

Journal content

Journal entries in the Amor Folio client app are private to you. You own all content you write. Amor Folio will never share, read, or use your journal entries except to store and display them to you.

Availability

We aim to keep Amor Folio available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We will give reasonable notice of planned downtime where possible.

Limitation of liability

Amor Folio is a tool to support therapists in managing their practice and clients in managing their wellbeing. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Affiliate Therapy Ltd is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the platform, including loss of data, loss of earnings, or decisions made based on information within the platform.

Intellectual property

Amor Folio and all associated software, design, and branding are owned by Affiliate Therapy Ltd. You retain ownership of all content you create on the platform (notes, journal entries, etc.). By storing content on Amor Folio, you grant us a limited licence to store and display that content to you as part of the service.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the platform after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
